CraftBook adds gates, fence walls that you can toggle off and on.
An example where gates can come in handy is pictured below, for a wall:
Creating a gate is easy: place a sign close to the gate with [Gate] on the second line. Right click the sign to toggle the gate. You can also activate gates with Redstone.
