*This is directed at an admin or mod unless you know a real way to help please don't say anything useless* Ok so a few days i was bored and i wanted to go on alice without using the launcher, so I decided to put all the mods together into my own .minecraft so i can use MultiMC (Since thats what I always use). So I started a little while ago and i got it done relatively quick but when i try to join i get a message like this "This server requires you to have the following mods: mod_JammyFurniture 3.5mod_ImmibisCore 48.2.1mod_TubeStuff 48.2.1" The thing is unless I am severally blind there isn't a link to download JammyFurniture for the version 3.5, only V3.6 and V2 And I have the correct versions on ImmibisCore and TubeStuff but it isn't recognizing it. Is there anyway to resolve this?, or will I have to go back to using the launcher?
Anyway, I know you won't like it, but try sk89q's launcher with Alice config, it should work, but it won't permit you to use MultiMC, anyway for now, it is the best way, it is a temporary solution, just before sk or another mod/admin to answer you! (try to launch minecraft in a console, google it to know, and then copy logs from the moment you start minecraft to the moment you join Alice, maybe it'll say a detail that will permit a mod/admin to answer you! )
I don't mean to sound mean chaeris but you obviously did not read anything of what I said Everything is perfectly fine except for 2 things I can't find a download for a 3.5V of JammyFurniture. The mods aren't being recognized by the server.
What about copying both those mods that aren't being recognized by the server from the old .skcraftalice jar to the new .minecraft folder? Yeah, i hate that the jammy furniture mod doesn't offer previous versions of the mod except for the ones for previous versions of Minecraft. Just go to the .skcraftalice jar and get these folders and files from it: JammyFurnitureMod.class mod_JammyFurniture.class JAMMY780 (this is a folder) mods/Jammy780 (this is a path to a folder) If you prefer to install mods into the mods folder then just take those files and put them in a zip which then goes into the mods folder. As for immibis' mods, this is the classes and folders in the jar: dan200 (this is a folder) immbis (this is a folder) mod_TubeStuff$1.class mod_TubeStuff$2.class mod_TubeStuff$3.class mod_TubeStuff$4.class mod_TubeStuff.class mod_ImmibisCore.class As for immibis' mods, i think you're suppose to put them into a .jar file if you want to install it in the mods folder, so you're better off just installing immibis' mods into the jar. Perhaps sk made some changes to immbis' mods that may break the original 48.2.1 version of it? Just spitballin but.
Thanks alot Gk, this really help, I got the jammyFurniture to work now I'm just messing around with ImmibisCore and the tube stuff to see if i can get it working. -edit- I think your right about sk making changes to immibis' mods because everything is working perfectly but I just can't log in to Alice because it thinks I don't have the right ImmibisCore or TubeStuff.
