Mod Link: http://universalelectricity.com/assembly-line or http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...bly-line-v02786-the-cooler-way-to-move-items/ I would like to suggest the assembly line mod for inclusion in the Alice modpack. I know that a lot of people want to add factorization just for its barrels, I feel that the crates from Assembly Line, along with the very cool, very effective, conveyor belts are the way to go. 1. Compatibility(Please note, these are the compatibility specs for the Minecraft 1.4.7 client, and may differ from the version of minecraft that Alice uses): 2. This mod adds Crates, which work like the Factorization barrels people want so bad. There are 3 kinds of crates: Basic (holds 32 stacks of an item), advanced (Holds 64 stacks) and elite (holds 256 stacks). The crates are able to be interfaced by any inventory manipulating mod. Here are a few screenshots: Spoiler More to be added...
I'm intrigued by the Universal Electricity mods. From the few videos I have watched they seem to have a lot of depth. I would like to point out that the GregTech Digital Chest works exactly like a barrel and it is available on Alice right now.
I have had a bit of experience with the Digital chests, but they don't seem to want to render for people so I removed them. They don't update and just keep saying "If you are looking at this block, you have found a serious bug!" or something like that. We had the same issues with the thermal generators, but we could fix those by punching them. Plus, when it comes to aesthetics, crates always come in #1 along with all the amazingly modeled Assembly Line items.
I hate to say this, but why is everything part of that package so bad? Terribly in need of a better graphics artist for both the in-game art and website Concepts are kind of rehashes of other existing mods Can't even spell LICENSE properly License terms are self-contradictory One of the mods that we did try (Modular Powersuits) ate absurd amounts of CPU and bandwidth Anyway, we can try to add it and see how it pans out. Just hope that it's not bad as it looks and we don't have to remove it in three days.
You can force them to render by left click them with your hand. This forces the texture to load. Most GregTech machines behave like that.
Why would people want barrels, what about the routers? Factorization adds loads of things other then barrels.
