May I ask why you are posting these pictures in both the New Vespucci thread and here? i'm just curious.

So, we've decided to play a prank on Shadow...

This was buried in his mystcraft age.

 

It was funny, cause i only heard it 3 times but the third was when i uncovered it.

Thats not the point , i only heard it because i was working on something that needed me to have my sound up because normally i mute sound and music and listen to my own music.

 

It was buried underground but I'm still wondering how he found it! Also, I had to run a separate instance of the server, restored to a backup because Shadow dismantled it before i could screeny it

 

Either shadow used the doppler effect to search for it, which takes skills and precision.

Doppler effect does exist in Minecraft. It would be highly improbable that shadow knows Triangulation. MINECRAFT DOES NOT HAVE TRIANGLES! i rest my case.

 

And what makes you think i wouldn't know it?

 

Pretty sure this is not implented in the sound engine, and it would still require some primitive triangulation anyway.

You can form triangles with imaginary vectors. And triangulation in three dimensions actually requires at least 4 points to note coordinates from.

 

Sure it is..you go near to a howler, its louder than when u were further.

 

It was funny cause when i broke the block that revealed the wireless receiver, it was a complete guess. It didn't sound any louder or quieter when i was trying to listen for it.
