    When your internets down/login servers down when it comes up and asks if you want to play offline if you click no it loads anyway...

    It is a known issue from what I understand (don't quote me on that). I noticed it when Mojang was having server issues a few weeks back. Should be fixed in the new launcher, but I'll mention it to sk just to make sure it is. Either way, thanks for the report.
