It's a mod that adds a lot of really useful stuff, like a rain muffler, block update dectector block, the ability to compress stone and much more! http://bit.ly/10SpT1F
I have added this to the 1.5.2 test build. I think Cursed Earth is going to be disabled. Because "spawn mobs at a much faster rate and with no regard to the player's proximity". Even though it is hard to obtain it also spreads and could get out of control. The Peaceful table is interesting. Further testing is required. The Conveyors are neat. They have no animation, but there is no fuel/energy cost to run them. The Pipe Transfer system seems to be just an extension of the vanilla hopper. It's very slow, only 1 item per second, but it's easy to setup. I might be worried about massive networks of these.
Oops, I missed the items section: Division Sigil is used to make Cursed Earth and Unstable Ingots. Both of these are extremely powerful and I see potential for abuse. After actually reading the method for obtaining Cursed Earth. It appears to be a byproduct of activating the Division Sigil which is needed for Unstable Ingots. I tested the activation ritual and it seems that Cursed Earth is extremely easy to get rid of. It does create a bunch of mobs, fire, and lightning but a single torch can make it go away pretty quickly. I'm still not sure if it should be allowed...it does spawn mobs at a very high rate. Unstable Ingots are well, unstable. They explode after 10 seconds if you don't do anything with them. They will kill you, even in quantum. The explosion doesn't do block damage. But I'm worried about other players nearby getting caught in the blast. There is a config option to disable the explosion. I also tested it in the Autocrafting Table MKII and the Buildcraft Autocrafting Table. As long as you don't take the ingot out of the table inventory, it will not explode even if you close the gui. I would not suggest storing Unstable Ingots in your autocrafting tables.(Can't test project tables cause RP2 doesn't exist for 1.5) I have two problems with the tools that can be crafted from Unstable Ingots: Healing Axe - While holding the axe it refills your hunger for free. Reversing Hoe - Can turn cobblestone into stone for free. Besides those, I absolutely love the Builder's Wand. There is even a Creative Wand. Also the sonar goggles are amazing. For the price and the fact that you need near darkness for them to work properly. I don't have a problem with partial xray. Watering Can needs to go...inb4 free bonemeal. It says its for peaceful mode anyway. Peaceful mode Nether Star recipe seems fair but I prefer to fight a Wither. tldr: disable explosions for Unstable Ingots disable Watering Can request feedback on: Nether Star recipe Healing Axe Reversing Hoe Any other items/blocks that this mod adds that negatively affect game balance on Alice.
It only spreads in complete darkness through dirt and grass. Sunlight or even torch causes it to burn and return back to dirt. Peaceful table and nether star recipe onlty work in peaceful mode.
Hey, where does it say that traps are frowned upon? Whether or not I want somebody trespassing in my base isn't your business.
Since PvP isn't allowed without consent. It's kinda implied that traps aren't allowed. And plus. you'd have to warn the player that's on your land in the first palace. Make of that as you will.
Well sure, as long as you put up signs telling players not to trespass and that they will most likely be smashed into a smoothie if they do, then they can't whine to the moderators about it.
So, if I re-enable ingot explosions will you take full responsibility for all the complaints? Btw, turning off explosions does not remove the 10 second timer that you have to craft the ingot. It will just disappear.
