This happens when I try to connect to the server:

I even checked "Force a game update" in the launcher (it didn't update, though), but it didn't work.
My system is Xubuntu 13.04, 64-bit. Java is OpenJDK 1.7.0_25.

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Okay, I got it now. The "Active JAR" was set to "minecraft.jar (Unknown)" so it didn't update.
Now after the update, all is working fine.
