Whenever I try to launch the game the launcher screen closes for a split second and then comes back up, so I clicked the option to show messages and errors and what I got was: Process ended with code 1 Minecraft is no longer running! Click 'Close Window' to close this window. Did you know: In 'Options', under 'Environment', you can disable this window from appearing. Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.
It seems to have worked for now but do you know what the original setting is? I changed it and don't remember what it used to be when it was working.
I think the default is something like 128 & 512? But I'm not entirely sure because mine is set to 128 & 1024 at default.
You need to either install 64-bit Java or lower memory settings. The error commonly means that you are trying to use more memory than a 32-bit process can handle.
