    Stop double posting. Also, just download the jarfile and use that. It won't make a difference or anything (ish...)

    This launcher is a beta; I don't think sk wants everyone to use the beta.

    Edit: As per Shadow's post below, I appear to be mistaken. The "beta" in the download link is quite misleading...

    You have to use the new launcher if you want to play on the server. Simple as that.

    False I've used both the old and the new launchers within the last 48hrs, and both work fine.

    Yeah, I probably should have corrected myself sooner. By new, I meant the one that was updated to be able to play for the 1.4.7 reset, not the beta one(idk why I said new, or even meant the old one).

    But even so, you should be using the beta for when we push any updates; Because if we do, you will only have to download what is changed/updated/added, and not the what....600mb pack of everything? like before, which can kill some peoples internet.
