My friend needs help with getting a laptop for Steam gaming (h1z1 and general indie games) and Modded, Vanilla Minecraft. His budget is £700 to £800 at most. Edit: Gigabyte P15F V2-CF1 15.6-inch Gaming Notebook (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00K8QZGSC/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_-eOWub1J8XX3N) seems good?
My work laptop is a Dell E6540, it's a little similar to your suggestion but laptops like this have terrible cooling if you want to game with it. (Even though it handles WoW at med/high with 40+ fps in the middle of a bussy area). This is an expensive laptop, but on the back it has 2 places where air can flow out. (This one, Asus G751JT) is around 1200 pounds in my country. Im not saying to get it, but look at cooling if you want a decent gaming laptop. (Better cooling also often means a better system when it comes to laptops)
