Are you bored because you completed Thaumcraft research, have a huge and extensive ME system, built a big base, have a great reactor system, and have nothing else to do? Or are you poor and have no resources at [censored] all! Well I did too! So start farming! Here are a few tips to actually do so:

    - MFR farms involve 2 crucial components: the harvester and planter. The harvester is placed with the cute animation facing the farm and output at the hole, and the planter is placed under the farm in the dead center. By default, they have a 3x3 plot, but it can be extended with upgrades. Fertilizers are optional. All of these devices are powered by RF.
    - Don't bother with Steve's Carts farms. MFR ones are faster and there is no space in between the crops, so the there is more output.
    - The first thing you should mass-farm is oak trees. You get lots of wood from them AND apples! Now you won't starve NOR run out of sticks or charcoal! After that, farm rubber and cotton.
    - One greatly upgraded harvester can farm many planters' crops.
    - Harvesters check maturity block by block. This is why Diamond, Platinum, and Emerald upgrades take up tons of time to inspect their plot.
    - There is no need to remove sludge from harvesters. They run normally stuffed to the brim with the gunk no matter what.
    - Farm what you need (trees, food, cotton) in the early-game when you are not well established and farm what you want (RICE, soy) in the late-game when you're bored.
    - There are mob spawning limits per chunk.
    - MFR is compatible with Harvestcraft non-tree crops.
    - Use fruit pickers on cocoa beans, not harvesters. Harvesters will harvest the jungle wood the cocoa is planted on too.
    - Put a chest behind the harvester, not an Itemduct or ME Import Bus. They won't glitch out that way. Then use an Itemduct or import bus from there.
    - Soy is OP. Harvestcraft recipes that involve meat or meat products can be substituted with tofu or soymilk, soy products. 3 Manyullin blocks for the stuff is OP (OverPriced).
    - Firm tofu and soymilk are made by putting soy in a presser's top slot. Soft tofu is made by repressing that firm tofu.
    - Cotton is even more OP and common. Very common. If you mass-produce it, you will have no need for massive sheep farms.
    - Some Harvestcraft crops do not need to be removed and replaced. Just right click on them and you can harvest it. MFR harvesters know about this secret too, and will not destroy them, but rather pick them. Notable crops like this include: coffee, seaweed, and cotton.
