Thaumcraft Golems slow to a crawl when the horizontal distance from you to them exceeds roughly 10 blocks. Is there any reason behind this, or is this something that could potentially be addressed?
This seems to happen with OpenBlocks Luggage as well. Not sure what is causing this, maybe something modified on the server...
I have noticed this with all mobs. Once you get about 12-16 blocks away mobs seem to slow down, like they are getting less ticks. Around 36 blocks they stop moving completely. I have been using the rotarycraft bait box, which is supposed to have a 64 block range. When I use it in the nether I have to constantly fly in large circles to keep updating the pigmen and having them walk in bit by bit.
Something is also funky with endermen in the end. I cannot get them to aggro me by looking at them, and the rotarycraft bait box does not work on them, but it works on all other mobs, may be related due to it being mob behavior, might be a different issue.
As it seems now if you more than 10 blocks far away from golems they will just stay and do nothing soo .. we need golems working not just stay and do nothing ... :/
In vanille minecraft mobs stop "living" if there is no one in a radius from 32 blocks of the animal (Someone told me once)
Yea, the minecraft wiki states that, but all this is happening at a much closer distance than 32 blocks.
Requesting that, in light of no chunkloading and no quarries and therefore a dramatic reduction in server load compared to other versions of Alice... we return mob range to normal?
