Downgrading Minecraft

It works like a charm.

 

I hate to say this... but google it, there are many options for launchers that you can select the minecraft version that you want to use.

 

I use linux and I remember, but can't quite remember the name of a launcher that I used that allowed me to downgrade to any mc version, and it was not hard to find at all, I will see what I can come up with.

no that's not what I was thinking about, but that may work.

Again MultiMC may work, but that was not what I was thinking of. This is really irritating me as I used to have a launcher that did exactly what they want, but I have not used it in over a year, so I cannot remember the name of it.

In the mean time, these are all good suggestions, I would recommend trying them out.

 

Don't you just replace the minecraft.jar? download it and then replace it - boom, done.
