Hey, this may be a pretty basic bug, but I cant use the launcher on any of my two computers. The moment it launches it says: The game is running. Please wait. Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine. Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit. Invalid maximum heap size: -Xmx4096M The specified size exceeds the maximum representable size. Process ended with code: 1 I understand that this may be a pretty simple problem, but I'm up to date on java and fiddling around with the options doesn't solve it. Thanks in advance if anyone knows the reason, I got hooked to Ivan on holiday and it won't work on my home computer.
I had the same problem a while back and re-installing java seemed to do the trick. Here's a link to the newest Java download.
Hey, thanks for the advice, I re-installed java and now have x64 bit java. However, this is giving me a new bug: Attached is a detailed crash report, but it seems to be due to the pixel format not being accelerated, whatever that means. The bug happens before the window of the game appears. I have java 8 update 101 (64bit) and am on windows 10. If anyone has any ideas or are suffering a similar problem, it would be a great help, thanks!
First, open the SKCraft launcher and navigate to the java tab. Then, set Minimum memory (MB) to 1,024MB and Maximum memory (MB) to 4096. ( I don't advise setting the max any higher than this as it causes stability. Once finished, click "OK" and try launching the game again. It also won't hurt to update your video drivers while you're at it.
