So i've gotten the Thaumcraft KAMI research finally ... turns out Nether stars are impossible to obtain atm. 1. They are not sold at spawn (contrary to what i've been told) 2. Wither Skeletons do not spawn in Nether Fortresses (Magma Cubes, Blazes and Pigmen do spawn, so its not that we messed up the conditions) 3. Wither Skeletons do not spawn in Newly generated Fortresses like normal 4. Using a MFR Autospawner in Non-exact mode with a normal skeleton in the Nether won't work. So pretty much the only way to get Wither Skeletons to spawn atm is moving a Skeleton Overworld spawner to the nether, for which there is currently only one way (Im not going to disclose that) about which i've been told by staff not to use it since they consider it an exploit. It would be nice if this situation could be resolved soon.
Moving a skeleton spawner to the nether would not work either... code from Alice 1.5 verifies all spawns from every mob spawner, according to the world that they are in. We'll either re-enable wither spawning, rebuild the arena from 1.4, or do something else.
I would suggest selling wither skulls in spawn for a high price. Otherwise there is this one way (Path told you what it is) to move spawners and its not actually emulating a catchable block place event and not actually giving you the actual spawner block.
You can place the spawner -- that is not blocked. What is blocked is spawning from these spawners. On Alice 1.5, a bunch of people had skeleton spawners already moved to the Nether (and also Blaze spawners moved to the Overworld), so the blacklist was instituted.
Can you please make an intervene solution to it? Having to do these ridiculous Bees is really obnoxious. I have all the research and infrastructure to setup all the Kami tools and only the Nether Stars are a road block. After working for so long for the research thats a massive bummer.
Flutter told me yesterday they were supposed to be for sale for an emerald block each - couldn't you reinstate that?
