Barely Launches before Ded

    The game is launching for 2 seconds, then dying. It has been working for weeks... it was working earlier yesterday (4pm), failing at 8pm. Confusing. The only thing I did yesterday was install MultiMC. I rebooted, and no change.

    Oo...that log claims support for PermGen was removed with Java 8? I guess you can try downgrading.

    The log has said that for ages, but it's worked anyway (it just ignores that command line option).

    Regardless, downgrading DID work. But I don't know why JRE8 stopped working... been using it for months.
