We have some bad news to report: Something went wrong with the world pre-generation and we'll have to retry it one more time, so we'll have to reluctantly push launch until sometime tomorrow. Aside from that, everything else should be expected to be ready. It's most unfortunate that we have missed the weekend, but we'll still be working on preparing the server and modpack until then.

Will spawn be the same? Is it like a template that get's imposed over whatever 0,0,0 is in the new map, or does it have to be built from scratch? Will we need a new launcher, or just an update on the old? Any significantly new or interesting mods get thrown into the hopper with the older stuff?
The launcher will not change. You will see a new post on site with details when the new pack is released. The launcher will automatically update your client when that happens. As for your other questions; We'll just have to wait and see.

Thats very disrespectful towards the work of the modpack team. We had so many versions until now where the balance wasn't that off. And from what I can see your contributions to the discussion consist of bitching and negativity so far, so what are you even doing here.?

You know, these things happen. I'm sure they are working on it. Fact of the matter is, nothing ever goes as planned, when it comes to putting a large group of (almost) unrelated mods together, and making them balance. I say, as much as I want this reset to happen like NOW, you guys are better off not listening to the likes of me, and take your time, get it all right where you want it (or close enough for comfort), and put it out when it's ready.
