Honestly, I think of the current situation as more of a double-edged sword... While already being behind in funding per student, we're also going to be behind in amount of school time K-12 -.- But then, extended summer...

Well they still have to teach you certain amount of stuff and you have to attend school for an amount of hours don't you?

Technically school has "started", despite the fact that they are still on strike. Nothing has been really sent out to us, other than student information confirmation sheets. Yes, there is a specific amount, but I just hope they don't cut into summer. That would suck. But then again, guess it would be necessary :-/

The problem is that they end up rushing the stuff, so the people that struggle... struggle even more.

Well that's the con of unions, the teachers can't go rogue and teach ._.
