There are several public farms on the server, but I've noticed that they tend to get wiped clean pretty quick. At the south-western edge of the spawn city (intersection of Paradise Ct. and Rapids Trail), on the coast, I've made a complex of farms. These are all unavailable to the public, but the idea is that I'll add some desiring folks to the friends list and you'll have full access. The idea is that I can stop people who have just joined and are looking around from taking it all and leaving, but instead have a group of people who come in, get what they need, replant and go. THe farms are well maintained and grow all night and all day. Currently I have: Six 9x9 wheat farms, two of which are above ground in a fence cage, and four of which are underground. They are fully lit with no mobs. A small melon farm (18 stalks) for people in a hurry. I'm considering adding pigs and cows, although I think I'd need some help. To clarify, these are not self farming or in special space efficient patterns, think of them like the american praeries. However, I will guarantee that no one can swoop in and empty the farm. I won't just let anyone in and I will use the logging tools to determine if someone has done this, and of course they will be removed permanently. So if you see me (my username is tehbyte) online come and ask for access, or PM me. I could also do with another manager.
I probably won't be able to go very often, but it sure sounds interesting. By the way, how do you post on the forums? I have no idea how to.
Ok CJ. Whats your username. I'll add you. Maybe at some point I'll make a paid subscription, but till then you're a beta tester. If you don;t replant etc you're out permanently though, so please be careful XD
