Hi, is it possible to add a custom recipe to Vincent for Moss Stone, Mossy Stone Bricks, Cracked Stone Bricks and Mossy Cobblestone wall ? Here is my idea how you should make them in vanilla Vincent: - Moss Stone: Cobblestone in the middle + 2x Grass (left and right) - Mossy Stone Bricks: Stone Bricks + 2x Grass (left and right) - Cracked Stone Bricks: Stone Bricks + 1x Stone Pickaxe - Mossy Cobblestone wall: Cobblestone wall + 2x Grass (left and right) What do you think about that? I would really love to have more options in my builds since i am a builder and also some other people wouldn't mind it.
Personally, if it were to be added, the recipes should be something more like what is upcoming in the new snapshot/editversion (1.8)edit. Moss stone would be cobble + vine, mossy stone bricks would be stone bricks + vine, cracked stone bricks would either be stone bricks in a furnace or some alternate way, and the mossy cobblestone walls would be using the moss stone you obtain the cobble + vine method or naturally and putting that in a wall format. However, the recipe you proposed for moss walls would be also a good way to convert already made cobble walls into mossy cobblestone walls.
Well the next patch 1.8 is still far away before its out. I would like to have at least an option to make these recipes.
I totally agree with the fact that they should be added so that you are able to create those items. I was just saying that they should be closer/identical to the ones that are going to be added in version 1.8, so that it would be closer to vanilla Minecraft in a sense.
Personally, I think that you should get cracked stone bricks from simply breaking them just like cobble and stone.
I would be more than glad to add a few recipes, the only thing is you cannot add *non-existant* items to vanilla Minecraft (Vincent). So I can create recipes to make uncraftable items that ARE currently in this version, but cannot make recipes to something like slime blocks in 1.8. So if you want a recipe change (and SK agrees to such) then I'll work on a plugin for recipes, otherwise, just gotta wait for 1.8. Psst man, you can create your own "specially textured blocks" in vanilla by specifically changing the texture of an unused item and making it craftable by players. This would involve a custom texture pack, *hard to find* ABSOLUTELY unused items, and a custom plugin. With some time and effort, it's possible, but it just isn't worth the effort to make a few differently designed blocks.
Can Moss Stone, Mossy Stone Bricks, Cracked Stone Bricks and Mossy Cobblestone wall please be added to Vincent? Since 1.8 is still far away and if it comes, than i guess the server will restart. Or do i ask too much ?
