Crude setups that teleport Lapotron crystals would be easy enough to have centralized energy generation distributed to many remote locations.
Yeah but still, it'd more of a hassle since you would have to set up mfsu's/charging bench then to just to have a wireless eu mod >_>
you still have normal panels, and the chunkloaders.... easy way to get energy still. though you would still need alot of tin cables and stuff removed 2 things:a line on the fact that we lost EE and... my fail of a post
well, you could always just use the power teleport pipes from BC, then when you get to the station, convert it to EUs with an engine generator, then connect it to some central EU storage blocks of your choice.
well... it's still easier to do than a number of other convoluted methods, lol. Plus, tiffy didn't specify what TYPE of energy, so unless this electromart supplies blutricity and MJs as well, it's not complete >8p of course, I'd absolutely LOVE helping to set this all up. Find some big, flat-ish island, build a giant power plant, pipe it out to the server... I'm planning on doing the first two anyways, so doing the third thing just allows for profit! one possibly more expensive option is just to build a small self-sufficient power plant in each location.

Also the name Electr-O-Mart what i thought, was referring to the block Electr-O-Mat (whatever its called) from the new ic2 update. so i was pretty sure it was ic2 eu.
yeah. I think that's a valid assumption. I just think that if tiffy decides to only supply EU, then I'm going to have to de-monopolize the industry :3 no hard feelings, right?
No, I'm sure we can supply all 3 types of energy. How to bill for the other two, though... And didn't the latest version of TelePipes remove the energy loss? I remember seeing that somewhere in a changelog.
the energy loss isn't from telepipes, it's from converting between energy types. And once the server is back up and running, I'm planning on setting up a prototype for the other two types. Blutricity will most likely have to be generated on-site, as I don't think there are any converters for that. As for BC power? each person who wants to have it supplied to them will choose the amount they want to receive and how many different incoming pipes they want, and they will have a unique frequency to use. if they don't pay, we shut off their frequency/frequencies. And we tell people not to share their frequencies with other people/groups so they don't get less than what they're paying for :3 theoretically, anyways. currently working out a factory that can support itself and have some stuff left over in SP. Teleportation really cleans it up a lot
The problem with Teleporting people power is that the connection is only between personal pipes, it's not a global frequency. So we'd have to set up their lines for them, and then they can draw from that.
