i always have to go into NEI and find the items I'm looking for, they just don't want to show up in the creative menu, and it just stumped me as to why they aren't there but in NEI, i don't know if i'm looking in the wrong place, because technic's creative menu is MASSIVE, but i havn't found any inkling to anything buildcraft in the creative menu
Buildcraft items (that includes pipes) should show up. The reason why blocks don't show up is because they have to be manually added by the mod author and it seems that Buildcraft doesn't do this. NEI just picks up all blocks and items so you can see them in there.
