So I log in and I'm dead? Can't click respawn or do anything. And to top it all off nothing should be able to kill me as I'm wearing my full.. Well was wearing it would seem (Quantum Suit)... I would like my items back since this is quite clearly a bug and I can't even log in atm.
Please do tell me how I would die wearing a quantum if it's fully charged? Let's not be ridiculous shall we? When I logged out I was still alive. Standing at our wall. When I logged back in I was dead and had lost everything? That's BS.
Really? Did you even read about it or did you take someones word? http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Quantum-Bodyarmor I will check the logs to see how you died but you probably got beat to death.
Let's recap since you're not really reading what I'm saying. My Quantum armor had FULL energy. meaning no they cannot beat me to death. And I was ALIVE when I logged out.
And how do they do this when I'm offline? And on top of it all there was no creeps around me when I logged out. This is interesting situation.
Every time you get damaged it loses a tiny bit of power, over time when it gets under 40% you start taking the damage. If you were offline then you would not have died, unless maybe you joined into a wall and walked away or something.
Regardless bugs and glitches should not fall onto me. I assume I'm eligible for getting my items back? Regardless you can see where I died and how can you not?
It is not possible to die when offline, because you do not exist while offline, and you cannot die on login without it being extremely apparent that it is occurring right in front of you. There has never been a history of a bug in the past 2 years violating those set of rules, and thus, the only reasonable possibility that you'd be dead on login is if you died in a previous session, which contradicts your own testimony.
Then feel free to check the logs. I was still alive when I logged out. It's pretty much a no-brainer. You don't think I would have noticed if I was dead before disconnecting?
We don't keep death logs anymore, as it was having an extremely negative impact on the poor logging system that we use (HawkEye). It is really not possible for you to die when offline. When you logout, your profile is saved and your player gets unloaded. Nothing touches your profile file at all after that until you login again. The only two other reasonable possibilities, if we make the assumption that your memory is correct in this case, is that you X'd the Minecraft window instead of using "Quit," which does not often send an actual disconnect packet and requires that you time out; or that you had actually AFKed the previous time and got logged out unintentionally, but after which you had died. In the former case, that bug is a long known issue of Minecraft but it is indistinguishable from the latter case and we generally do not compensate for that. However, that said, the logs indicate that you had become idle before disconnecting in the session immediately previous to the one where you realize that items were lost, which indicates that your session had persisted for over a minute. Generally, the former possibility (the X'ing) does not persist your session longer than 30 seconds, meaning that either the latter case is true (you AFKed and got disconnected), or you had AFKed a bit before actually hitting "X".
Nah. I just realized that there are some idiots in life that you simply can't reason with. They're struck by tunnel vision and simply unable to rationalize properly.
@Makanmakan, When you spawn in Multiplayer very brief lag can cause you to spawn 1 to 5 blocks above or bellow your log-out position. Thus It could be very probable that you suffocated in a wall as you spawned, causing your death.
