Solars are good but since they only work in the day its not exactly worth it.

I've heard that the Relay is pretty laggy too.

 

Sure it is for a while, then what if you use all the power in the mfe/mfsu at night, then you have to wait till day again for it to charge up again.

Sure it would, but if your just starting out you wouldn't have more solar panels or msfu's.

 

Then that's the point of starting out. If you already have equipment to get 24/7 power what's the point of trying to advance?

I meant that "getting a 24/7 supply of power" would be a goal of a newcomer. Then the goal would progress to more machines and more power as needed. Of course, the goal is entirely dependent on the user (for example, if they don't need/want power then the goals are non-existent).

 

Ohh ok sorry (a little derpy right now). Yeah your definitely right there, it depends on the user fullstop, if they have 24/7 supply of power there might be no point at all to advance or the user might decide to advance and do something else. Entirely user-dependent as you said.

This is true, but on a reset not everyone will have them setup, I love them don't get me wrong I just like player interaction. The more the better in my book. I love this server and it's people and look forward to any kind of activity that brings the community closer together. Which brings me to the idea of maybe hosting some kind of events every now and again. Me and some friends are considering different types of arenas and games everyone could enjoy. It will have to wait till after reset of course.

 

Probably hurts the server more than the bandwidth usage of a filter and timer, but I can definitely say, using them has helped high-bandwidth d/c-ing.

Can I ask why the hell you would want to keep your items?, if you kept them what the **** would be the point of a reset.
