The downtime might be due to too many entities I know i have tons. and the server couldn't handle 15-30 people having like a lot of those. And when players join and load their chunks all the things start and shit like that. Because I notice whenever a person joins or usually when a person joins at a fullish time the server freezes might be that might not. and then there is the other thing. The awesome powers of my turtle (dirt block) freezes the server randomly! beware of my turtle (dirt again) <--- not a real reason if you didn't catch on.

In that case we do need to create a Damocles that can move around the map, powered by Cranjuice. It shall circle the world as a vigilant guard against lag. If we find one? It shall drop tnt onto the area until it's dealt with. Dooooo it.

thats why you see me with my 65 solar panels. I knew the water mills were glitchy at the start. My build might not be efficient-er than the mills but they don't lag at all they are just blocks. I suggest everyone to build tons of solar panels and do w/e with the eu i have no use for it now.

Actually they do lag, they are just the same as watermills except you get more lag from water mills because of the automation, but they will lag you if you have quite a few near you.

We had like 300 solars on top of one building and it didn't lag at all.

Hmmm. . . . well I don't think i'm wrong because I know they do cause lag like the watermills but it might just be in very large numbers, not 100% sure.

Of course solar panels cause as much use of resources as a watermill... but! if you automate it, the lag increases heavily, causing so much that people get kicked because their bandwidth can't handle it. It's not the watermill or the solar panel, they are just blocks... It's the redpower piping going into them that cause lag.

Regular solars. And actually more like 1300 on the Roof. :>

Our last base had about 380 on the roof, with no lag/latency issues, but... I digress.
