Status on chunk registration

    Here's a status update on chunk registration: the code for it is pretty much done, and it's likely to be implemented within the next day.

    Sounds good. Nice work sk. I believe that the payment was going to be 8 or 10 coal coke per chunk and double within a 1000 radius of spawn. Not 100% sure though

    Where is everyone getting these payments from? One is saying that it's coal coke, others are saying that it's diamond blocks, dragon eggs, stacks of diamonds when...

    Well chunk registration is here, and in my opinion is set up pretty balanced. 4 Chunks free is fine for starters, and 20 coal coke per chunk, while not requiring anything other than putting 20 ordinary coal in a coke oven, is not expensive, but takes a while to gather for most as of now, due to the slowness of coke ovens. Some people do have large stores they can tap for buying large areas immediately (gknova says he bought all the chunks on the main island). I have little doubt that people may build MUCH bigger coke oven farms to try to buy chunks at a faster rate, but they take up a sizable area (5x5 - 3x3 for the oven and a block on each side).

    EDIT: I may be wrong about if it is here in its finished state, but it is being tested.

    It is at least in a test stage. I just registered 9 chunks with 4 free and the rest at 20 coal coke per chunk.

    Noobs are not able to tell you that they just mean "someone suggested that" or "someone said". Instead they use misleading words like "Not 100% sure" to seem better informed. Truth is: no one knows shit. And if you believe them, you're fucked.
