heh, to be honist it was the first mecha i saw, so im probably influenced by that. gundam 00, now what do people think of that? i liked it as much as seed
lol I couldn't say much for SEED if it was you first mecha, its only natural if it was your first. I think the first mecha I saw was Broken blade I think either that or Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann I can't remember anymore. Though I still remember the very first anime I watched -.- .
Broken Blade a first? Broken Blade is RECENT. Also, I love Gundam SEED. And Destiny. And 00. And Gundam Wing to a lesser degree. Frankly it's overrated. X was fun. Turn A can burn. The original series might have been good, the ancient animation drives me insane. Unicorn is fabulous. All the little mini-series were generally good. Haven't seen all the Z's......... Also. Macross. Haven't seen the originals, but Frontier was uhm. Interesting. I dislike the premise of singing people to death... er, peace. There is a distinct lack of Code Geass in this thread. And in the Anime Night. This needs to be fixed. :<!
.... Kira I should kill you... It isn't exactly singing them to death so much as mental warfare, imagine having foreign language blasted at you on all channels during a fight in space. As for disliking the old Gundam series... yea I should definitely kill you.
No no no, I enjoyed Frontier, but it was definitely singing to the aliens for peaceful purposes. They have Mechs with speakers! And the aliens were like OH YEH. :| It was not some unorthodox method of psychological warfare. It was the entire point. And I can dislike old, outmoded animation. I'm not saying I don't like the series, just the animation. Unicorn is the same style, but updated to contemporary levels of detail and quality. Very nais. The UC Calender series are more fun in any case.
