In the update to 1.2.5, SK disabled IC2 machine sounds because they are annoying. Personally, I don't think this, but OK. But, because these sounds are off, I've left my Mass Fab running with no scrap multiple times and drained my MFSU. So, I think that SK should add an alternate version of the alice JAR file for people who want the sounds on. What do you think?
Make it so that you give scrap to your machine when your mfsu is full. Problem solved. IC2 sounds cause also lag, you should know.
"Or", if you really want the lagging IC2 sounds you can enable them in the IC2 config in the config folder.
I'm right with it, but I think he disabled them not only because they was ennoying, but because even if you set the game sound to 0%, it was making sound effects, I remeber that. Anyway it is true that sound is really helpful and that we "need" it, I am right with you, sk should make a version to re-enable the sounds!
AH sorry but as I don't know anything about these mods and their config, I didn't know it was as simple as that, anyway for newbies like me why not make another version.... Sk89q | \/ Me | \/ (zombie troll because sk killed me)
Yeah, I've had some people on some forums use a ridicoulous gif signature and it was a real mess Each time you change your signature, I use the facedesk, it is really powerful !
For window: open run: type: %appdata% this will bring you to a directory with all application data noramly you would open . mine craft however to due to sk89's launcher you need to open .skcraftalice it should be under .minecraft in most circumstances open .minecraft (with in .skcraftalic) open config folder in here is where all config files are find the one labelled ic2 open it you should see a large wall of text i recommend you use ctr + f key to bring up find type sound in bar and hit find this should take you to sound range how far it can be herd from under it should be the sound disable on / off should look something like this. # Maximum number of audio sources, only change if you know what you're doing soundSourceLimit=32 # Enable sounds soundsEnabled=false needs to be changed to true # Maximum number of audio sources, only change if you know what you're doing soundSourceLimit=32 # Enable sounds soundsEnabled=true for mac: its slightly different opening the app data i dont know the details but its the same once you have .skcraftalice directory open if you don't know how to open app data and you use a mac you could turn a blender on when ever you use a macerator =P Disclaimer turning on sounds will cause lag in fact I was turning mine off last patch xD , i also take no response ability if you break your config Hope this helped -fx- Ps if something goes wrong for any reason forcing an update will fix it.
