We have a Winner! I really like how you managed to completely disconnect the control logic and output system from the actual quarry. (Playing with frames is also the reason I haven't been on much lately.) and here is the video about the engine he's using!
Not Entirely because of Frames, some other school-related stuff. But Frames played a part. I hope to get back on one of these days, but there are a lot of assignments at the moment. :/
I have. Browsing through a proxy beats it, easy. But whenever I use my college's Wi-Fi, I run into this insane problem. It's gonna sound nuts to you, but my laptop freezes up completely when I connect to my college's Wi-Fi network. I'll be able to go online for 2-3 minutes maybe. And then poof. The laptop BSoDs on me. And the screwed up part is, this ONLY happens within my college. It never happens at home. It never happens at Starbucks, Mickey Ds or any other public Wi-Fi networks. Even right now, the only reason I had enough time to type this all out was because I turned my Wi-Fi off before I began.
That isn't nuts. What's nuts is my school's security system on the DER (Digital Education Revolution) Laptops (which are basically crap, but they gave it to everyone in year 9 for free). They've limited pretty much everything on them so you can't do anything from installing/opening programs not preinstalled to changing your desktop background. After hacking myself into administration on the computer, I've discovered that their anti-hack prevention/rollback (i.e. them attempting to change me back to limited user automatically) relies on the internet. Their security system relies on the internet. Turn the internet off and they can't do ****. What a waste of $400m of taxpayers money for such pathetic security. EDIT: Also, they BSOD several times a week, and the internal hard drives dislodge more frequently than you can imagine.
