Hello there, after a player on Alice mentioned how much EU they got from their Solar Panels, I thought "Hey, I might as well just make a Solar Panel calculator for people who want to calculate how much EU they generate per day (IN REAL LIFE).". So here it is the 'Solar Panel Calculator': For each solar panel you have got powering your BatBox, MFE or MFSU just times '864000 by (Amount of Solar Panels)' and that is it, the total is how much EU you generate per day. --- EDIT: --- I updated the number so now it is only counting days.
1 Minecraft day is 24000 ticks, according to the MC Wiki. However, we can't use that figure since solars only work in the day. I'd do the number crunching, but I'm far too lazy. And fortunately, I don't have to because according to the IC2 wiki, a solar panel chugs out 13050 EU per day. Not sure where you got that 1728000 figure from. if so, then person needs to clarify.... got my hopes up there for a moment- if there is that much EU per MINECRAFT day, then i can make 8 UU each of those days lol
lol that would be nice if it happened, but i don't remember who it was but someone hooked up a mass fab to lots of wind mills and he made 1 uu a sec, well not that much but a-long those lines.
13050 (EU/MC-day) x 3 (MC-days/RL-hours) x 24 (hours/day) = 939600 EU/RL-day he didn't account for nights, and he's still wrong
Ok not sure how you got that number but the way I calculate it is like this 1. 1 x 20 = 20 eu/1 second 2. 20 x 60 = 1200 eu/1 minute 3. 1200 x 60 = 72000 eu/1 hour 4. 72000 x 12 = 864000 eu/1 day 1. Solar panel x 20 Minecraft Ticks 2. 20 Minecraft ticks x 60 seconds 3. 1200 EU/M x 60 minutes 4. 72000 EU/H x 12 hours
Both of you are technically correct. Alexanderpas accounts for the full day and the part of dawn/dusk where the light level is high enough to produce energy whereas Ali accounts solely for daytime. That is why Ali's number is slightly lower.
