I know Sk really likes SummerFields and I agree, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a good texture pack that includes ones for the IC2 and BuildCraft items.
have you tried this http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...-256x-512x10-to-125-sphax-purebdcraft-240312/ along with some of theses http://www.eclipse-project.de/forum/viewforum.php?f=4
I'm finishing up my Faithful compilation, I'll post it when I'm done. All the mod textures for it are out of date, I'm having to go through and update them all to 1.2.3. IC2, BC2, and RP2 are all finished, working on Forestry at the moment.
I'm using Summerfields myself. Although I generally leave the vanilla textures on while building, so I can get a feel of what my buildings look like to most folks.
For interested parties, my custom compilation/edition of Vattic's Faithful 32x Texture Pack, with updates to the relevant mods: - BuildCraft - IndustrialCraft 2 - RedPower 2 Forthcoming: - Forestry - PowerCrystal's Power Converter mod Forestry is actually huge, and is taking a while, but I will update when it's ready.
This is actually really awesome props to you man for doing this, its really awesome. -edit- the reinforced door texture is broken.
It's broken in default... lol. Just checked, since I opened the original block_0.png and the texturepack version, and they ARE the same. And using the default texture pack is broken for me. Is it broken for you? If not, could you go into your industrialcraftblahbittyblahblah.jar and then ic2 -> sprites and send me your block_0.png? Edit: Just looked it up in the changelog on the IC2 website, they fixed it in 1.90. So we have to wait for that, lol.
Just checked it out. Good work, Kira. Faithful packs looks awesome. Although I only have a generator, macerator, solar panel, batbox and extractor at the moment, so I can't say much about your other machine textures. The few machines I do have look pretty decent, though.
I can't take credit for the textures themselves in most cases, with a few exceptions in RP2 and a ton in Forestry. They're done by others ages ago, but the texture files they were in fell out of date, the GUI's in particular, and needed to be updated/moved around and recompiled. *_*
I thought this already been done. You can find the textures for the latest version of the mods on the faithful thread. As for redpower, go to the unofficial recipe list on eloraam.com where you'll find a link to the faithful 32x textures for it. I have faithful 32x with all the mod textures i got from the thread and eloraam.com. Nevertheless, good job thou! I wish i was artistic and able to make my own textures
GK, they are not current. Most of them require tweaks. The Redpower pack you refer to is one version out of date, and a number of machine blocks were missing (Regulator, Bluelectric Alloy Furnace) and some pipes. IC2 was missing a number of sprites (though I see he updated it the other day). Forestry plain out does not exist, not in any usable form. Same for PowerCrystal's mod.
Hey, your right. Sorry for trollin' ya thread i'll download your version of faithful when i get over this 104 fever i got from a much hated classmate. Guess the effects of it are becoming apparent as i can bearly type for 1min without coughing and would be more than useless if i joined the server in my current state
I put together the Sphax 128 bit Texture Pack for the Alice Pack. For anyone interested here you go: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/44704523/Sphax PureBDCraft 128x.zip I just found out that Forestry Backpacks aren't there so when it's out I will update it WARNING: THIS MIGHT SLOW DOWN YOUR COMPUTER SINCE A 128 BIT TEXTURE PACK, thanks Shadow
As far as I see yes all of the mods we have are in the texture pack the only thing is Backpacks aren't there I guess they will update it soon!
Ok I tried the sphax TP you you together Ali and I will just come out now that unless you have a powerful computer do not run it, the bare essentials i tried running my computer at was with my 1tb hd and 12gb of ram and 4gb of Memory my minecraft just went to shit and it slowed my comp down while running it, mind you it might have because i was using it with MultiMC but i shouldn;t see why that would be a problem. -edit- Wow didn't mean it to be that much text sorry.
