Hunger games.

    Snowyleopard and I have been building the arena from the Hunger Games books. It's been tried many times, but none of the other maps seem any good. Please ask if you want to help! [​IMG]

    I feel you sk. Most people only know the movie now and will go back and read the books. Just like with what happened to Harry Potter. Not that there is anything wrong with that, at least it encourages people to get to know what the author intended over a mega profit movie that pulls on the teenagers sense of self importance. "THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT ME AND MY AGE GROUP! LETS THROW MONEY AT HOLLYWOOD! I TOTALLY READ THE BOOKS BEFORE THE MOVIE CAME OUT" sure you did >.>

    Yes. Yes you should. Hype about any series can be annoying, and the Hunger Games fans can get REALLY obnoxious. Ignore them all and read the books. Personally, I distrust any book that a bunch of high school girls squeal about, but the Hunger Games are actually pretty good. I was fortunate enough to read them at the beginning, when nobody (especially me) had heard of them. I liked them, you'd probably like them. Read them.

    I actually thought the movie was better. The writing in the books was meh.

    When I read the books, I thought that they were pretty good. When I saw the movie, I was amazed. For me, the movie actually complemented the books. If I had only watched the movie, I think that it would have been lessened.
