The process for building the modpack for Alice 1.8/9/10 has begun and we're looking for mod suggestions from the community, whether it be magic, tech, or of some other category. For those who aren't familiar with Alice, Alice is a non-skyblock modpack that aims to provide a balanced mix of magic and tech, as well as provide a chance to explore new mods.

You can find the mods that we've considered (but are not necessarily going to be chosen in the end) on this Google spreadsheet.

It's preferred that we build Alice upon at least Minecraft 1.9 or 1.10, but a number of mods are not yet available for 1.8 and we're not sure if we should wait or simply drop those mods.

Please send us your suggestions of mods for consideration or any corrections to the spreadsheet.

I would like to ask, some of the mods are labeled with a Yes,Prob, or Maybe but some mods aren't labeled in such a way at all. Are these unlabeled mods considered "we know and have considered the mod, but have decided no"?

I suggest OpenGlasses, available for 1.9 and now even 1.10.

I would also suggest Computronics but it's stuck on 1.7.10.

Similsax Transtructors is a very interesting mod with essentially one feature. Two grades of tools that build out in a line from the block you use them on. Safer and easier way to build platforms out and to build tall walls without climbing. I see files up to 1.10, but haven't tried it since it was only 1.7.10.
