I am trying to decide on which game to get if any. The Choices are Paragon or Overwatch. In a time of global crisis, an international task force of heroes banded together to restore peace to a war-torn world: OVERWATCH. Overwatch ended the crisis, and helped maintain peace in the decades that followed, inspiring an era of exploration, innovation, and discovery. But, after many years, Overwatch’s influence waned, and it was eventually disbanded. Now, conflict is rising across the world again, and the call has gone out to heroes old and new. I would like to know which one to go with and why.
I haven't heard of Paragon before you mentioned it...so my say is that Overwatch is probably more well known and thus will have more players when you're matchmaking. Maybe you should put it this way though. Overwatch is made by the Blizzard, the people who made famous games like Hearthstone, StarCraft, Diablo, and World of Warcraft. On the other hand, Paragon's creators, Epic Games, made the highly successful Infinity Blade game for Apple devices, but it does not have as much acclaim as Blizzard simply because it does not command such a large number of well-known games or player base. Also, the Overwatch cinematic trailer is pretty awesome.
Epic Games also made the Unreal Engine, Gears of War and Unreal Tournament. The Unreal Engine is used on a LOT of games. I've played the open beta of Overwatch, seems kinda fun, a lot of characters to chose from. As far as Paragon goes, I'm not a big fan of MOBAs, so I'd lean towards Overwatch.
