I entered the portal from nether to overworld. Server closed. After this, any attempt to login leads to crash the server.
You can do so. Delete the file of my character. It can be found on uuid. And remove the temporary ban. I spawn with an empty inventory on spawn location.
" It's your area." As I understood Frolik teleported to home from the nether. So, if the problem is in the area (in overworld) then I could not enter the server as well. But I can. Maybe I misunderstood something =/ I misundersood a situation
Not see. Instead of mocking comments, it is better to use a competent advice. If you yourself can not do.
I agree with Belsagor. The main point of this advice, as I understood, is Frolik will start "a new game", so he wil be teleported to spawn (actually NOT teleported, he will appear there as a new player), so you will be able to solve the problem with the location, while Frolik will be able to continue playing on the server
However, in doing so, the problem will still remain. If he so decides to go back to his old base for whatever reason (or wherever he is curently) the cycle will continue. Resetting his player data will, yea, teleport him to spawn and delete his inventory. Sk (I presume) made the point about the issue not being use to his inventory because one of Frolik's main points, so to speak, was the fact that he would be alright with an inventory reset. Furthermore, I would guess that Leiser's mocking comment was made because Frolik, in his previous post, explained his "fix", temporary as it is, despite Cromy having already explained that they were working on a fix, which would, with luck, prevent this from happening further, with any person(s), without requiring a playerdata deletion, etc. Certainly a more lighthearted response than "don't tell us what to do." That being said, I do understand frustrations with not being able to play on the server due to a bug of this nature. All in all, perhaps it would have been better to have asked for a chunk reset, rather than an inventory reset? (Being that I am not incredibly technically inclined to the point of understanding all be intricacies of this issue, this post reflects only my opinions and limited understanding of the subject and should in no way be construed as factual.)
Broken chunk away from my base. I got there by accident. Therefore, removing plaerdata - the easiest and fastest way to solve problems. But there is a more complex way. Locate the broken chunk on a test server and remove it through worldedit. Search will be held in 10 steps.
If you do not like this option, there is another: 1. Find the player file (using uuid). 2. Replace it save location coordinates to spawn. 3. Profit.
Guys, they literally have a command to teleport an offline player without having to look through and edit UUID files. That was Leiser's point. He wasn't trying to mock you, he was saying that they are aware of the situation and the possible solutions and have a better grasp at the correct course of action due to their knowledge and experience of running the server.
As wiz said, we don't even need to edit your player data file. I wrote tools to teleport offline players and even edit their inventories. The crash occurs during chunk load, so the problem cannot be removed with WorldEdit. Even if we could, that would also potentially completely destroy someone's base, which we don't want. We could either remove Integrated Circuits, which is the cause of the crash (directly or indirectly), or use my crash suppressor to prevent crashing. Either way, I assumed that you were at your base, frolik, but I've teleported you to spawn.
I agree with the idea of removing Integrated Circuits. Me and a basemate also placed down something from IC at our base, which now causes server crashes on chunk loading (btw, I made a private thread about this about a week ago, but haven't got any answers yet about a fix...). I have also tried making several Circuit Boards in SP and placed them down. Every (!) time I close and reload the world, it causes server-side crashes and I have to remove the thing with MCEdit.
Excuse me? I wasn't mocking anybody, simply pointing out that we have ways of fixing the problem I'm sorry if my post was misconstrued
