In launcher options, manually set the path to 64-bit Java.

It looks like it's using 32-bit Java and 32-bit applications cannot use that much memory.

I got it to launch, but I decreased the amount of ram it's allowed. I'd really prefer to run the client 64bit rather than 32 for the extra speed.

It should look something more along the lines of this.
    Code:
    C:/Program Files/Java/jre1.8.0_60/bin/javaw.exe

When you download the java 64 bit from Oracle. Install it.

Then go to your Start Menu Search and type in "Configure Java".

Go to the "Java" tab. Then click on "View"

Disable all previous versions of java except the latest one you just downloaded.
Copy the path of that java, like this.

That is the path to your java installation.

Note: the path I provided earlier was just the path to my installation, it may or may not be different for other people.

You're still using 32-bit by the looks of it.

Unfixed now, completely renewed everything and it wont work again. Did exact same thing, put path for 64bit java in the thing
