After starting the launcher and running the game, it does not start and crashes. The report is as follows: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=128M; support was removed in 8.0 java.lang.OutOfMemoryError Process ended with code: -1
That isn't the full error log. Please post the entire log. EDIT: I have a program that is almost finished it will automatically upload the log.
The launcher has that built in. You may want to stop reinventing the wheel mang itsa a waste of yo time.
It seems like you are only giving it 1gig of RAM which is not enough...at all. You also seem to be using a 32-bit machine....I am not trying discourage you from playing Alice or anything, but a 32-bit will not give you a very good time on Alice 'cause of all the machines. But then again, some people on Alice do play on 32-bit computers like JTHR ._. Anyways...change the maximum up to as much as you can give Alice and then you should be ok. You should also definitely install Optifine and Fastcraft to improve your frame rate because I play on the same integrated graphics card(I think) and I have to set my View Distance to tiny without them P.S. You also have to take into account of the amount of RAM that your integrated graphics card uses. My assumption of the max amount of RAM you can give the game would be somewhere around 2.5gigs
I have a 64bit copy and machine along with 16gigs of RAM. If I set the RAM to anything above 1364, I get this: The game is running. Please wait. Error occurred during initialization of VM Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM warning: ignoring option MaxPermSize=128M; support was removed in 8.0 Could not reserve enough space for 1402880KB object heap Process ended with code: 1 If it is anything below that I Receive the attached message.
Oh yes so you do silly java! "running on Windows 8.1:x86:6.3" I would think that you need 64bit java then...
