    This has been released yesterday. It's a server-side forge coremod that splits up ticks from world, tile entities, and entities, separately for each dimension. This means that if e.g. one tile entity lags then it will not slow down tps for world entities or the server as a whole. Also, a tile entity that lags in the nether will not affect tile entities in the overworld.

    We've always had tps problems and this may help greatly. People can have automation and laggy machinery in the overworld, but entities will move without lag, and gameplay in other dimensions will be unaffected.
