And here we go again. EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I actually kinda like the new GregTech. It's just that whenever it gets brought up here it somehow has to turn into a shitstorm.

Okay so I actually am playing a pack with GT installed at the moment (1.7.10). Thoughts: um what is this load time I am currently running a server with GT installed and only 2GB ram. Hasn't crashed yet. there are 3 creative tabs?! and they don't have labels? what? I haven't tried survival and the pack enables hardmode afaik, but I would probably turn off hardmode on a custom-built server.
*shrugs* Only because GT /used/ to be a huge laggy mess (might still be idk) and generally fucked about with things. But whatever, I'm going to /try/ and have a civilised discussion about the pros and cons of GT. All hail the shitstorm.

I don't like how its grindy right off the bat. It would be nicer if the basic things were easier to come by then it gets progressively more difficult as you advance through tiers. (or machines or idk ive never played gregtech)
