All the work and effort that any of the team members has put in is greatly appreciated, most people are just to lazy to show it and tell them. it is best to wait for alice to be fixed and mean while we can all do our christmas shopping and use other cool this that are offered to use -losing anyone is a sad thing, never knowing them is worse-
or maybe we could learn Java, how to troubleshoot and fix suckily coded mods so next time we can do it ourselves
Guys guys guys guys guys! Our community is not useless. It is not only the moderators that can make mods, trouble shoot mods, and put mods together! There are many coders in our community!
I'd love to see the server restored to what it was like a year or so ago (except the lag that came with it) I haven't played in a while because I'm at a point where there's nothing left to do, since we really don't have any endgame goals or such. However, I think it's a ridiculously bad idea to diverge from the community and make your own server with the modpack (or a new modpack). It'll just make things worse.
Agreed. It would cause plenty of confusion. It will also split the community in half, with some on the new server and others on the original server.
I'd say just host a Beyond Reality server. Plenty of mods, balanced, endgame goals, and it's actually stable-ish. There's a few servers with 50+ players online at once, so I can't imagine it's unstable
No gregtech. All of a smaller modpack. Used the ATlauncher and selected resonant rise, added all the big name mods I wanted and launched it. Wow, my laptop can do stuff! Can we get statistics on what mods we even use on a dailly basis? What mods do we even have?
