Could we add Minechem 5? The 1.6.4 version used Universal Electricity but the 1.7.10 version uses RF. It's a pretty neat mod; it's basically a small chemistry based mod. Here's the link to it: https://jakimfett.github.io/Minechem/
I never got much into IC2 so I don't know, but if you're asking if it's just make one material and then craft anything you want then no. Not everything is craftable and the things that are crafting require specific combinations of elements and molecules. It also contains a bunch of useful customizable items; two of note are pills and the polytool, both of which can be modified to affect your surroundings or yourself depending on which elements and chemicals you craft them with or place in them respectively. The focus of the mod is on discovering the chemical composition of the minecraft world around you and then using that knowledge to affect the world, not on having a spawn in material.
Isn't that the mod where you can make all kinds of stims and such, like cocaine and meth? I think I saw Yogscast Will use it in his minecraft vids. If we get minechem, can we get the mad scientist mod too?
This mod has a bunch of chemicals in it that can be applied to the pills. Also I know you stated it as a condition of already having this mod but if you're requesting another mod please make a different thread so that the topic of this one doesn't get derailed.
Aside from it potentially making drugs and items of that sort, take a look at this - if it is to be re-added, you'll need another person from MPT to have a say for it. Unless someone can change my mind...as of now (sadly) it's a no from me.
Ah thanks for the link sii. No wonder I couldn't find a rejection thread for it, it was in the factorization one. Would it still be considered too unbalancing though, given that you can spawn in loads of stuff with high tier blood magic and to a much lesser extent botania? Anyway thanks for your input.
Unsure on how unbalancing it would be yet, but of course, if it certainly has changed to an extent that is clearly visible to me between the time it was rejected and now, I'd be glad to re-add it.
Judging by the wiki saying "By splitting and merging elements, you can make almost anything. There is a config option to blacklist certain items or blocks (diamonds and emeralds are blacklisted by default)" still sounds unbalanced. Unless we want to black list all the things.
