RedNet cables are extremely server intensive. Please use other cables whenever possible, such as EnderIO conduits.
Wow, somebody REALLY doesn't like rednet cable lag, because that is perhaps the most detailed, well graphiced advisory I've ever seen since I started with this community. It's got pretty lines, and nice symbols and recipes and everything, it takes a lot of hate or love to be that dedicated. If only Ender IO cables didn't look like ass and take forever to make...
What scares me is the RF cost per ingot, I made RedNet cables because I could get them with the smeltery and because Extra Utilities ones required tons of gold.
They really aren't that bad. Some charcoal, 1 copper dynamo, and a few iron ingots and a few redstone is all you need.
I have never even thought of using RedNet cables. Also, another benefit of EIO cables is that you can bundle them together. One block can transport liquids, items, energy, gas, and redstone all at the same time. You can put items and redstone on different channels, which potentially means 16 items and 16 redstone ports all at once.
That requires prior knolage of ender io where as most know mfr well and had knolage that it could be used as a fall back for TEs recent short coming
Why not just disable them like the universal cables? EnderIO cables are simple enough to make anyways.
I agree but a trade for the ones u have would be cool as they require elextrum witch is quite a bit more expensive then ender iOS basic cable
Too bad the basic eIO conduits were nerfed, but yeah. They're still better anyways. Rednet cables look absolutely shit.
