    • The connection throttle should be disabled now.
    • You will no longer be kicked randomly, though occasionally some chat messages may be eaten.

If a message gets eaten it's as simple as sending it again. Hooray for no more random chat disconnections.

What causes the messages to be eaten(or before a disconnect)?

One of the mods we have, Computronics, an addon for OpenComputers, had a type of block that could receive chat messages to be processed by computers. However, the handler that catches chat messages was somewhat broken, randomly causing errors and thus kicking players.

SK simply made it not kick players, but the error would still occur and eat messages sometimes.

Some time later I disabled the block as a whole, and with that, the handler that catches chat messages also got disabled.

Sounds like a nifty thing to have, just write a code in chat and something turns on or something... sad it is broken atm though

Can I make a request to the MPT to actively test that block when new version of that mod come out? I would make use of it.

We always keep an eye on the changelogs. I'm sure it will show up there.
