lancher and server status

Shouldn't be too hard, but Java's html renderer is pretty bad, so we'll have to see.

 

It isn't THAT bad. It'd be pretty trivial to check up status and display it somewhere.

 

It is possible, ofcourse. I remember when I joined SK we could see the people who were currently online on Alice (on site). Don't know if that feature is still working?

 

Gimme 30 minutes, lets see what I can whip up... (Not in launcher)

Edit 1: I will make an image that will have the status. I'll post the url here in a minute and it can be embedded in the launcher.

Edit 4: The server may go in and out for a moment. I am enabling hot deploying so the server should stay up.

Edit 5: Hot deployment should now work. The server should never go down. - I think I might need to move my edits over to me dev blog

Edit 6: I made a second image located at http://alice.penagw.in/image1.jpg that displays the current amount of online players.

 

Should be super easy. I'll look at the launcher, maybe make a pull request.

 

SKCraft Mobile supports push notifications for Mojang server status as well as the SKCraft website. I never got around to figuring out the protocol for Alice/Vincent, but the code to support them is there.
