I have got a fair few windows 7 keys from computers that I have scrapped/written off. That I would possibly give away or sell very cheap just to help someone out.
Not that I can give out no. Windows 8 computers supplied from a manufacturer do not come with product keys anymore, instead a special code is placed deep into the bios that allows windows a successful activation.
Well if you are a student, you can pickup Windows 8 Pro for a mere £50. Which I consider great value! Other than that I don't think many places will sell Windows 7 anymore and if they do I doubt its cheaper.
Its easy to obtain if you go on the microsoft store student section and type in your .ac.uk email you will get it.
ah sixth form. I go to college so I have one! She must be the same age as me as I am going into my second year at college.
My college email is .ac.uk But since a sixth form is a school they will not have them. As long as she can prove she is a student to microsoft it should still be okay. (I'm 17 soon too lel)
