I've got my feet wet on alice in 1.4 and 1.5 but never really jumped in and became a part of the community. Now i want to!!! But is it going to reset soon? Should i wait till 1.7?
Forge 1.7.10 was relaised within the last week, it will be some time till all the mods in the pack update to 1.7.10. Having said that mods that have world gen are priority and we likely wont update till all or at the very least the major ones are updated. 1.6 does have open base which provides the tools needed to advance so if you're looking o make a derp hut and don't mind using furnaces ect of others you'll have a good time. If you're looking to build I wouldn't start anything major.
I think that alice might want to stay in 1.6 I really enjoy playing 1.6 other than 1.7 because it gives u an opportunity to play older versions of minecraft.
Meh, you've come in late, atm I'm waiting for the update cos I didn't play alice for around half a year.
I'm end-game and it's pretty boring. I recommend you get a friend to play with together. Progression will be faster and the server will feel less empty.
WELLLLLLL at the current rate that people are changing their minds on the theme of spawn build, it will take... 29758901 years a fairly eh (not too long, not too short) while for 1.7 to be out.
Considering the work on the 1.7 pack hasn't even started yet, it currently doesn't matter at all how long the build team will be discussing/arguing.

All the more reason to get into alice. I'm going to wait until there is consensus on what's going on. And more people.
No, it's not the number of people it's the fact theme is not set and people are building things that don't fit within the style currently being used. In other words the lore needs work.
