Well i think the mod machine muse's modular powersuits should be added to the modpack. It gives more to do with thermal expansion. It also adds more uses for resonant ender and teseracts. The mod is pretty well balenced because of the weight limits and such. The mod is highly customizable so you can customize your armor to suit your needs. I also think mps addons should be added because it adds more modules to modular powersuits. We had this in 1.5, but it can cause server lag (I think?) and can be overpowered, even after the rebalance.
