Hello, I am playing on a macbook pro OS X Mavericks, whenever I try to run the launcher it starts up and takes about 3 minutes before an error occurs and it crashes? Assistance please?
You need to post the log before any of us can help you. But make sure you use atleast 2gb ram and around 512 in permgen.
Do you have 64 bit Java? I know that i once had 32 bit and is said I tryed to force close skcraft. Be sure to have ^64 bit
It's a custom launcher and when you launch minecaft tthe MPT (mod pack team) added a few extra lines that can pop up on the header Also, cut down the number of lines, just copy and post your log from just before it crashes. (use spoilers or pastebin, pastebin is best )
It doesn't really crash. It just stops doing anything. It doesn't freeze or anything. Just doesn't move.
look at the log called messages and errors it will say something also install 64 bit java if you havent already
It can freeze for up to 10 minutes on slower computers. This is unfortunately normal and the result of having so many mods. The speed of your hard drive and so on affects load time. Can you paste just the last few lines of the log when it freezes?
