Update before last the mercury item was added to the ore dictionary so it could be turned into quicksilver. I see it in the ore dictionary, but the unifier will not turn it into quicksilver, and the mercury items cannot be used in recipes that need quicksilver (I do not think TC handles the ore dictionary very well, as it only accepts vanilla glass when any glass should do). I believe this is due to the built in feature of MFR that the unifier will not attempt to unify anything with more than one ore dictionary name. The only way I can think of to easily get around that is to have a crafting recipe.
That said, would it be possible to edit the smelting recipe of all the RC flakes to be our unified item, rather than the separate RC copy? It would save a lot of annoyance. I'd be happy to help.
that would be good for things like diamond, certus etc - less item spaces used in an ME system. they'll also become really rare.
You could easily set up a few unifiers with import and export buses connected to them though (fuzzy or precision) and make it automatic. And certus gems from rotary needs to be put in a crafting grid to change them to AE certus quartz (hint: maybe make a unifier recipe for that, MPT??), but you can also use the ME system for that aswell.
