well for you, slayer, i'll make an exception. you shouldn't underestimate my social qualifications. passive aggressiveness doesn't help you either. if you have something to ask me or to talk about you could aswell just PM me. I'm done playing because of the abusive mods. Threatening to ban firestarthe on top of that? Funny. The whole mod team needs to be reshuffled. SK isn't doing shit about my concerns. At this point it's really just me saying to myself, **** SKCraft. Why am I putting up with this abuse?

But you do not deny the first situation happening on the server? What I've gathered from all of this is that SK does not give two craps about anything going on in the moderation of the server. Doesn't matter what failed logic a mod uses to ban a user, and there is no oversight on the use of the powers given to the mod. What this means is simply a free for all. Even I watch every action my mods take on my site. Mind you the community I have is well over 200K people large and constantly growing. I have a lot more to deal with when it comes to abuse complaints than what you would have to, and yet for some reason nothing is done about it here. You should probably take the advice given in your member title. People are complaining, being vocal, and you don't see an issue with the actions of the team at all. I made my complaints originally, quietly, to SK, only his inability to do anything is making me feel like the only choice is to be public about anything, however, there is no way I can trust a single mod on the server.

Do i remember correctly, that you're doing the forums thing as job? as in to earn money? If so, i think it wouldn't be fair to compare SkC with yours. I neither ignore, deny or confess anything. I remember you were calling me into your place once, when the skeletons were randomly spawning. I never got a clue, what was up with it though and apparently mistakenly thought you were trolling me. Answering your questions THOUGH you're constantly insulting SKC make me feel the more fair part of this discussion, btw. I am willing to listen to you, no matter how much my opinion differs from yours. Just pointing that out here. Edit: I wish i would care for for the real important users though.
I gave SK a chance to answer my concerns via PM. He didn't. Gave him a chance over TeamSpeak. He didn't. Though he will contact Firestarthe over Trillian rather than to me regarding MY concerns??? I bring this dirt out to the public and you think I'm insulting SKCraft. I'm pointing out what shouldn't be. I'm pointing out abuse of power and the unlikeliness of anyone to do anything about it other than to continue to make the same bad decisions over and over. Nah, my patience has ran out. You're saying you have a community with nearly a quarter million people and you find time to spend on the SKcraft forums and in game you must have a heck of a lot of active staff. That said back on topic here Dem was well within her power to ban the OP as he was crashing the server on purpose yes the issue is known and it is being worked on but that's no reason to hurt everyone's enjoyment in the meantime
As you recall, I came to your base to try to figure out what was going on. As you saw, things still happened even though you could see my character. You later blamed me for what was going on, as I will assure you, I could really care less about most of the players on the server, whether you come, stay, leave, play or whatever, I have very little reason to care about taking time out of my day of moderating/playing to come mess with you or abuse you. You've said it all, but I have very little reason to really care about your outcome. If you really feel that you can't trust the mods on the server, then don't play here or put time here, we could really care less whether you play or not. We all have lives and things outside of the server enough to want to come here and play. We moderate not as employees with pay or what not, only as volunteers of our time. In the few hours or so that most of us have, we don't really care to mess with players or what have you that shows what you have said. In the end, if you really feel badly about the mods/players/community, then show us by not playing here or caring. We don't have the time to respond to every post in this forum as well, so please stop complaining, either put up proof or don't say anything. End of story. Could we try to keep this post on theangrytomato's issue now instead of all the other stuff and issues, thanks .
Cooperisdunn, they're really talking to you and treating you badly... Remember aside from a few bad apples this is a really great community! I'm sure it will get sorted out soon. Best not to join flame wars with the people in power though!
How have I "bluffed" you out? I said the only message I have received from staff is a message saying I have been banned, which is entirely true, temporary or not. I know the staff volunteers their time. You don't need to keep telling me that. Iv'e volunteered at support centers for the less fortunate in my community, including soup kitchens. When someone tells me we need more soup, I don't stand around waiting for someone else to do it. However, at the very least I would mention it to someone else that we are running out of soup. Volunteers here on SKCraft have failed to either address the issue or tell someone else to do it. That's what led me to log on. Not with the intention to ruin the server or cause grief, as some people have suggested. What's happened has happened, and I forgive the staff, as the are just volunteers. I am now asking for forgiveness for attacking the staff the way I did in my OP. A little bit unnecessary, although it has attracted lots of attention to my issue and that's what the whole point was. I totally agree, I fell in love with SKCraft from the beginning. It's the whole reason I learned how to play on servers with mods . It was never meant to turn into a post with this much controversy, and I have kept myself contained before someone unreasonable banned me looking for a quick fix. I can't speak for all the other posts the players have made on this thread, though. It seems there has been some unfair bans in the time I have been absent. Maybe there is a connection between the way I have been treated and these players?
There are things that happen in the background that you may never see or hear about, and one of these days something may just "work". As someone has said earlier, they could have outright reset your whole base, but they're trying to find a fix to prevent that altogether so you don't have to lose it. Maybe if you wanted to get in quicker, you could ask them to just wipe it and start anew? Otherwise, give them the time they need to debug and find a solution. ==== As for the "abuse by moderators" topic, I have never seen or experienced that by any of the moderators. Well, if you'd like to call it "abuse", I've had a lollipop hurtling towards my face at mach 5 from the sky yesterday by Dem, but that's about it. Point being, if you're being "messed with" by moderators and getting banned, you're doing something wrong and you either don't know it, or aren't acknowledging it. Mods are enforcers of the community, volunteer or otherwise. All they can really do is get people to chillax and follow guidelines and rules, or get dusted out the community for being careless.
Please don't post if you don't know what you are talking about. I have told them they have permission to outright reset my base, though I do expect some sort of compensation as everything I own is in my AE ME drives.
And they have said that resetting is an SK only thing. I know what I'm talking about son. edit: As for compensation, nobody else afaik gets compensation when we get rolled back, I don't think that will change.
Guys you have to remember that this is just a game. It is meant for fun and not everyone can have fun at the same time. So just suck it up, I'm having problems with the launchers so what, I would like to play with my friends but I can't and thats ok. Plus, you can't just dump these problems on staff and start nagging them to fix it when you don't give enough reasoning. And you guys don't know anything about being staff and how hard it is to keep up with all of these issues, remember they volunteered and don't have all the time in the world to work on YOUR problem. The whole purpose of SKcraft is to have fun so let others enjoy that and don't be selfish and hog it all. Finally, if there is a problem that needs to be fixed how would you like to fix it??? You have all the resources they have so why don't you do it? I know I couldn't do the hard work they do(optionally). Remember this to: It could be a problem with the mods not the server. PLUS they pay for the server with THERE OWN MONEY!
